At Vildbjerg Swimming Pool, you’ll find our 25-meter pool as well as a warm water and spa area. The facilities are used for many purposes, for example as a training facility for the local swim club – Vildbjerg Swim Club. Additionally, the pools serve as a rehabilitation pool for the local physiotherapy clinic, a training facility during training camps for visiting swim clubs, and, not least, as a public swimming pool for visitors. If you stay at our hotel, you also have free access to the swimming pool, warm water, and spa area. In other words – everyone is welcome!

25-Meter Pool...

Grab your family or friends—or just hop in your swimwear alone—and visit Vildbjerg Swimming Pool, located right here at Vildbjerg Sports & Culture Center. In our spacious and modern swimming hall, you’ll find a 25-meter pool where you can swim both solo or with a group.When lane ropes are set, the pool is divided into 6 lanes, each equipped with starting blocks so you can begin your swim training with diving exercises. Additionally, there are turn flags, underwater lighting, and electronic timing at the pool.

The pool is 1.80 meters deep at the deep end and 1.10 meters at the shallow end. The water temperature is 27 degrees Celsius.

We offer many scheduled swimming sessions, for example, for early birds with morning swimming from 6:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from 7:30 AM on Saturdays. In addition, there are fitness swimming times available for those who want to swim laps both morning and evening. We also offer senior swimming sessions, where you can combine exercise with relaxation and socializing.

Warm water and Spa area...

Next to our 25-meter pool, you’ll find the warm water and spa area at Vildbjerg Swimming Pool. The warm water and spa area was built in 2004 and features a large warm water pool, a spa bath, a water slide, acoustic panels on the end wall, and fantastic natural light from the outdoor area near the main entrance.The large pool is divided into 3 levels. There are steps leading from each level down to the next, with depths of 40 cm, 90 cm, and 145 cm respectively—so there’s room for all age groups. The warm water pool is 33 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for baby swimming, as well as rehabilitation and loosening muscle tension.

If you feel the water temperature should be a bit higher, you can use our spa bath, which accommodates up to 6 adults at a time. The spa bath temperature is 38 degrees Celsius, and with the massage jets running, it offers excellent opportunities to relax and ease sore muscles.

Once your muscles are relaxed and the spa bath is being cleaned, you can take the stairs up to our water slide. The water slide is fun for both children and adults, giving you a good rush, tummy tickles, and plenty of laughs.

At Vildbjerg Sports & Culture Center, our swimming pool staff usually organize Toddler Swimming sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturdays from 7:30 to 9:30 AM, and Sundays from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Toddler Swimming takes place in the warm water pool, offering space for play and helping children become comfortable with water. It is designed for children aged 0–5 years accompanied by an adult. Please note that opening hours—and thus the times for Toddler Swimming—may vary during holidays and school vacation weeks.

Indgangsbilletter til Vildbjerg Svømmehal - både 25 meter bassinet og varmtvands- og spaområdet - købes i receptionen på Vildbjerg Sports- & Kulturcenter. I receptionen kan der også købes svømmebriller, badehætter og "Happy Nappy"-blebadebukser til børnene. Børn, som endnu bruger ble til dagligt, skal bruge "Happy Nappy"-blebadebukser eller lignende type og samtidig en engangsbadeble, for at få adgang til Vildbjerg Svømmehal. Til børn under 2 år medfølger en engangsbadeble i billetprisen.

Vildbjerg Svømmehal er handicapvenlig...

I Vildbjerg Svømmehal har vi en række hjælpemidler til handicappede. Fra parkeringspladsen og op imod hovedindgangen er der opkørsel til kørestolsbrugere, og derfra kan vores elevator benyttes til at komme til svømmehallens omklædningsrum. I omklædningsrummet kan vi stille en badestol til rådighed til brug i bruseren, og vores svømmehalspersonale kan også guide dig videre til vores handicapomklædning, hvis der er behov for det.

Svømmehallen er endvidere udstyret med en lift, som personalet i svømmehallen kan betjene. Liften gør det nemt, at komme ned i vores bassiner for fx gangbesværede.
