Around Vildbjerg Sports & Culture Center, you will find a green area that we are very proud of. Modestly speaking, we believe you can find some of the country’s best natural grass football fields here during the summer months, along with two well-established artificial turf pitches for the winter season. Our dedicated groundskeeping team works hard every day to ensure that both our local heroes — Vildbjerg SF and FC Midtjylland’s women’s team — as well as our visiting guests enjoy the best possible conditions. Our clear goal is to provide teams with the most optimal playing conditions so they can get the best results from training sessions and matches.

Do you want to train on the same pitches as DBU?

Fortunately, our football pitches are very popular, and every year we have the pleasure of welcoming many teams. These come not only from Denmark but also from abroad. On a daily basis, our pitches are primarily used by the local football heroes — Vildbjerg SF and FC Midtjylland’s women’s team — who use the fields for training sessions and matches. Additionally, some of DBU’s youth leagues for both boys and girls regularly use the pitches for their scheduled training camps in the western region. Beyond this, both grassroots and elite clubs choose to hold their training camps with us.

Vildbjerg Cup...

Every summer, our pitches host a large youth football tournament — the Vildbjerg Cup. The cup is well attended, with teams from many different countries and various skill levels. All of our pitches are used during the tournament, making it a full-on football celebration.
